Process plans in Diyala and Kirkuk to implement investment projects



The provinces of Kirkuk and Diyala are preparing practical plans to implement investment projects during the coming year in light of the lack of financial possibilities and in line with the directives of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers. Diyala governor Muthanna al-Tamimi said in a press statement: The province held an expanded meeting with planning managers in the local departments to discuss the preparation of plans for investment projects during the next year, especially that will be implemented through the Office of the province and planning departments. He added that the province is working on the preparation of a database of progressive projects to be implemented, taking into account the importance of the project for citizens and the percentage of completion, in addition to the implementation period. For his part, said a member of the Projects Committee in the Kirkuk Provincial Council Qasim Hamza al-Bayati, that his committee is currently working to prepare the atmosphere for the next phase through the preparation of a plan of action in accordance with the directives of the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers on projects during the next year, useful that the Secretariat had issued several directives to institutions The government departments focus on working to raise the level of living and service of citizens and the transition to the private sector or participate with him in industrial, agricultural and commercial activities in order to achieve positive returns. He pointed out that his committee is currently working on preparing a table and notes on the completed projects and the achievements of the service to citizens and the state, in addition to the projects to be completed during the next phase in accordance with the annual plans, pointing out that the priority will be for the sectors of electricity, water and sewage and education. Al-Bayati said that the committee seeks to support the privatization of electricity and telecommunications sector with the operation of laboratories affiliated to the ministries of industry and trade in the province or to announce investment to benefit from the employment of the unemployed and the introduction of products to markets, especially that work is currently on the inventory of industrial laboratories in the province and provide a full study and feasibility Which it achieves in case of activation of its work. It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Planning earlier deleted 296 projects cost 10 trillion and 652 billion dinars, because they are not priority projects at the current stage, and postponed 2169 projects amounted to 36 trillion and 720 billion dinars.
