Baghdad / Mosul / Sabah

Our security forces have tightened the siege of the other areas on the right side, where the remaining terrorists are present in Mosul in preparation for their break-in and the announcement of the liberation of Mosul by the Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Dr. Haider Al-Abadi. According to military information, the heroic fighters forced the terrorists to retreat and besieged them in a rectangle whose area is gradually shrinking. Its width is no more than 300 meters and is 500 meters long on the banks of the Tigris River.

The spokesman for the Joint Operations Command, Brigadier General Yahya Rasool said: "There is little left of the area of the old city of Mosul, which does not exceed one square kilometer, where scattered remnants of terrorists are present, while the ranks of our units continue to advance on several fronts." "The declaration of full-scale liberalization of the entire coast has become very close," he said. He revealed that the Joint Operations Command has prepared plans to liberate the remaining cities of the usurped Tlafar and Hawija and areas of the far west of Anbar, Rawa and Al-Qaim adjacent to the Syrian border.

On the ground, the commander of the operations (coming to Nineveh) Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yaarallah said that the army units completed yesterday morning clean up the areas of Katunya and the lines within the northern axis of the center of the old city.
