The Ministry of Education announced on Saturday that more than 300 thousand students went to the final exams for the preparatory stage, confirming the completion of preparations for the examinations.

The Minister of Education, Mohamed Iqbal al-Sidli, said in a statement received by "Al-Ghad Press" a copy, that "359731 students went to the final exams for the preparatory school in all parts of Iraq, except Nineveh, which will start at 8 am on Sunday, 2 July 2017 "He said.

He added that "the ministry has completed all its logistical preparations for conducting the general ministerial examinations for the preparatory study / first round, branches (scientific, literary, professional and Islamic) for the academic year 2016-2017."

Iqbal explained that "225426 students will go to the sixth science in all public and private schools, 117435 students of the sixth literary, 16700 students for professional study, and 170 students for Islamic study."

"These numbers include students in all governorates except Nineveh students because the Ministry of Education has not been able to count them because of ongoing military operations there and the continued displacement of students every day, making the numbers increasing," the statement said.

He concluded that "the sub-committees for examinations in the Directorate General of all held seminars for the directors of the centers and assistants to explain the examination instructions, and also prepared the tools of detecting the means of fraud electronic provided by the Ministry of Education earlier," noting "while the ministry also coordinated with some service and security To provide security elements for all centers as well as the provision of electricity.
