Federal Police: Liberation of the Church of Chamoun in Bab El-Egg

The head of the federal police, Lieutenant General Raed Shaker Jawdat, announced on Friday the liberation of the Church of Shimon in the Bab al-Egg in the right of Mosul, stressing the destruction of seven vital targets for the organization of a crowd in the door of eggs and a new door.

In a statement received by Al-Ghad Press, Jawdat said that "the guided missile battalion, in coordination with the pilot, managed to destroy 7 vital targets, including a weapons and ammunition depot, a food distribution headquarters, a field headquarters, a call center and a new door."

Jawdat added that "the federal police units liberate the church of Chamoun in Bab al-Baid and continue to progress towards the Umar al-Asad mosque and al-Raba'a mosque.

He pointed out that "the pieces of the federal police advanced in Bab al-Egg from the west of the city of Mosul, close to the mosque Zuwani and clashed with the elements of Dahesh."

The joint security forces, backed by Iraqi warplanes, are battling fierce battles to liberate the old city, which is the last bastion of elements of the organization calling the terrorist in Ayman Mosul.
