Abadi visits the Joint Operations Command and is briefed on the developments in resolving the battle of Mosul

The Prime Minister, General Commander of the Armed Forces, Haider al-Abadi, visited Friday the joint operations headquarters and briefed on the developments in resolving the battle of the right side of the city of Mosul.

Abadi said in a statement received by al-Ghad Press that the latter "visited the headquarters of joint operations and held a meeting with the military and security leaders to follow the progress of our forces, which came close to resolving the battle and defeating terrorist gangs."


He added that Abadi "briefed on developments in resolving the battle to liberate the right side of Mosul in full, within the operations of the coming Yanino."


The commander-in-chief of the armed forces, according to the statement, "guided the importance of preserving the heroes and citizens and insist on the eradication of terrorism and the liberation of all the territory of the country."
