Barzani meets with tribal chiefs of Nineveh plains

It is worth mentioning that Nineveh plains, majority of it are Christians, are inhabited by Arab tribes that may hinder the plans of the Kurdistan independence.

On the 7th of June 2017, Barzani met with Kurdistan political parties' representatives and other senior officials. They decided to hold an independence referendum on the 25th of September and general elections on the 6th of November.
