Iraqi Stock Exchange announces the circulation of more than one billion shares today

The index of the Iraqi market for securities traded more than one billion shares for today, Tuesday, while topped the four banks and one company the size of the value of trading during the session.

"The Iraqi Stock Exchange traded today at 1.046,465,864 shares at a value of 758.109,482 dinars, while the ISX 60 index closed at 578.66 today," said Taha Ahmed Abdul Salam, the market's executive director. A low of 1.08% from the close of the previous session of 584.98 points. "

He added that "the market in today's session traded shares of 35 companies out of 101 listed companies in the market, while the number of companies suspended by a decision of the Securities Commission for failure to comply with financial disclosure instructions 13 companies."

He added that "the number of shares purchased from non-Iraqi investors amounted to 95.819 million shares valued at 141.990 million dinars through the implementation of 68 transactions on the shares of 8 companies, while the number of shares sold by non-Iraqi investors 240.384 million shares valued at 221.700 million dinars through the implementation of 84 deal on the shares of 4 companies. "

He explained that "four banks topped the companies contributing in the volume of trading value (Sumer Bank, Bank of Baghdad, Gulf Bank, Middle East Bank) and other companies topped the Baghdad Company for soft drinks."
