Abadi leaves Saudi Arabia


Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi left Saudi Arabia Tuesday after a one-day official visit to the kingdom.

"The Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq, Dr. Haider al-Abadi, and the delegation accompanying him left Jeddah today," the official SPA news agency said.

Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi arrived in Saudi Arabia on Monday for an official visit to Saudi Arabia, where he discussed with Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz the strengthening of relations between the two countries.

During the visit, Abbadi led the Umrah rituals, declaring that the Iraqis with their unity and patience managed to achieve victories over the Mujahedeen.

Abadi's office announced Monday morning that the latter would leave for Saudi Arabia to start a regional tour involving Saudi Arabia, Iran and Kuwait.
