British ambassador to Diyala to discuss security, elections and popular mobilization
The head of the Diyala provincial council Ali al-Daini announced on Tuesday the arrival of the British ambassador at the head of a delegation from the British embassy in Baghdad to the province, stressing that the ambassador will discuss several files related to the province, the most important of which is security, reconstruction and elections.

Al-Daini told Al-Ghad Press that a delegation from the British Embassy in Baghdad headed by Ambassador Frank Baker arrived at Diyala Diwan in the center of Baquba, stressing that "the visit came to discuss several files related to the province."

He added that "the topics that will be discussed during the visit, is to support Diyala in general in terms of security situation and services and investment projects, as well as the reconstruction of areas liberated from the organization is calling."

"The visit will also discuss the elections of local councils, in addition to the role of popular mobilization in the liberation of the cities of the province," pointing out that "the visit will have positive effects on the province in general."

The province of Diyala continues to suffer from the deterioration of the security situation in its areas, after the liberation of several areas of the control of the preacher of the terrorist, which requires intervention to rebuild the liberated areas and control of the province to prevent the occurrence of security breaches.
