Saadiya district calls for the end of the suffering of 900 displaced families still outside their homes
The governor of the province of Khanaqin in Diyala province on Monday called for the end of the suffering of 900 displaced families still outside their homes.

"Three meals of families and a total of 900 families have not yet been settled. They have been displaced outside their homes since the area was under control three years ago and for unknown reasons," district director Ahmad al-Zarkouchi told al-Ghad Press.

"These families are suffering from extremely tragic situations throughout the period of their stay in the camps outside the area," Zakouchi said, adding that "the return of these families will contribute to the advancement of Saadiyya in all aspects."

He called on those responsible for the return of displaced persons to "resolve the file of these families and end their suffering as soon as possible by speeding up the scrutiny of their security files and giving them the green light to return."

The area of ​​Saadia, the province of Khanaqin northeast of Diyala has seen a wave of large displacement during the control of an organization calling on it and several areas of the province in 2014 and before the liberation of the security forces and popular mobilization forces.
