Jawdat: fierce confrontations with a preacher in the Old City and the organization of the buildings and electricity poles

The head of the federal police team, Raed Shaker Jawdat, said on Monday that the security forces are engaged in fierce confrontations with a preacher in the old city, noting that the organization is sweeping buildings and electricity poles.

In a statement received by Al-Ghad Press, Jawdat said that "units of the elite commandos of the Federal Police are armed with a battalion of snipers and marines engaged in fierce confrontations with elements of the organization in the old city."


"The fighting is going from alley to alley and between houses and exhuming buildings, electricity poles and sewage networks," he said.
