Abadi meets King Salman bin Abdul Aziz
Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi met Monday with Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz in Mecca, while the latter held a banquet in honor of the prime minister.

"The prime minister, Haidar al-Abadi, met in Saudi Arabia on Monday with Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz," a statement from the Abadi office said.

"King Salman bin Abdul Aziz held a banquet in honor of the prime minister," the statement said, revealing that "the official round of talks in Saudi Arabia will begin this evening in the presence of members of the delegations of Iraq and Saudi Arabia."

Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi said earlier on Monday that the Iraqis would be able to achieve victory over the terrorist.

Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi arrived in Saudi Arabia earlier on Monday for a one-day visit.
Abadi's office announced this morning that the latter would leave for Saudi Arabia to start a regional tour involving Saudi Arabia, Iran and Kuwait.

The deputy of the coalition of the rule of law, Jassim Mohammed Jaafar , revealed earlier, Monday, "Al-Gharab Press," details of the visit of the Prime Minister, Haider Abadi to Saudi Arabia, Iran and Kuwait.
