Transport Minister Kazem al-Yamami said on Sunday that the plan for the development of Iraqi Airways will include three important steps, including restructuring the airline and converting it into a holding company, stressing the intention of his ministry to enroll 105 aviation students with the latest international institutes.
“This is the first time that the Ministry of Transport has achieved this qualitative leap since 2003,” Al-Hamami said in a speech at a ceremony celebrating the rehabilitation of 40 Iraqi pilots at Baghdad airport, followed by Al-Ittihad News. “It is hoped that 12 young pilots will join the promising hawks.
