Baghdad Municipality reveals why water has been cut in the capital for long hours

The secretariat of Baghdad, Sunday, the Ministry of Electricity responsibility for the interruption of water in the capital, while noting that it is trying to coordinate with the Ministry in this regard, called on citizens to rationalize water consumption.

Al-Amana said in a statement that "the Ministry of Electricity and suddenly included major water projects programmed parts of electricity, which makes them rely on generators to operate, which affects the operation of the necessary pumps and reduce the amount of water that access to the network."

She added that "the inclusion of projects and complexes programmed plots will fluctuate water access in appropriate quantities to areas of the outskirts of the capital and areas away from liquidation projects."
The Secretariat said that "while apologizing for the emergence of health in some parts of the capital, it stresses efforts to coordinate with the Ministry of Electricity to cancel its decision to include water projects programmed program."

The Municipality of Baghdad called on the people of the capital to rationalize and rationalize the use of clean water and in accordance with the actual need and avoid wasting it for the purpose of watering house gardens, washing cars and streets and not bypassing the networks and main lines conveying clean water and avoid tampering with water closures.

Citizens in different parts of Baghdad complain of the long and frequent interruption of the water during the month of Ramadan and coincide with high temperatures.
