Governor of Basra issued a clarification on his referral to integrity by Hakim
The governor of Basra, Majid al-Nasrawi, said on Sunday that the referral to the Integrity Commission, in agreement with the stream of martyr Muharab, after the submission of papers "fabricated" against him, denied at the same time the news of his arrest on the background of this subject.

Al-Nasraoui said in a statement that "months ago false papers were presented against us to the leadership of the Martyr Shahid movement. These papers were subjected to investigation, examination and other matters of verification. The papers are fabricated, aiming at punctuation and we are not satisfied with the completion of our march in the service of the sons of Basra. "

He added that "the leadership of the Martyr Martyr movement of Ammar al-Hakim and the leadership and the political bureau, in coordination with us, has proposed to transfer all papers and files to the Integrity Commission officially to investigate them and to show the facts to the public opinion from the highest supervisory authority in the Iraqi state."

"We have reserved the right to retaliate and bring legal proceedings against those who propagate these rumors," he said.

An informed source revealed last Thursday that the head of the National Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, asked the head of the Integrity Commission to investigate with the governor of Basra, Majid al-Nasrawi, referring to the suspicion of corruption files.
