ERBIL —
As part of Ramadan aid campaign, Barzani Charity Foundation (BCF), in collaboration with Korek Telecom, distributed assistance to 300 disabled people in Erbil.
“The aid delivery took place today on 14th June 2017 where 300 disabled people from Zheen Association received food parcels donated by Korek Telecom and carried out by BCF’s Assistance team in Erbil,” BCF said in a statement.
The BCF has launched a charity campaign to deliver aid to needy people throughout the Holy Month of Ramadan. The campaign is aimed to reach as many needy people as possible.
The foundation also delivered on June 15 financial assistance to 1,410 families of the Peshmerga fighters who lost their lives in the fight against the Islamic State (IS).
In a ceremony held on June 15 in Erbil, BCF, in a charity campaign funded by Korek Telecom, distributed an amount of one million Iraqi dinars ($800) to 311 Peshmerga martyrs’ families. However, the campaign will continue to provide 1,410 martyred Peshmerga families with the same amount of money on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. LINK
