A top ISIS leader in command of the group's armed terrorists was killed in a field in northeastern Baqubah in Diyala governorate on Friday night, a local source said on Saturday.
In statements, the source said that the leader Malla, 60, was killed during clashes with IMIS militias near al-Dawleib village.
The sources asserted that Malla was also a representative of ISIS Diyala's so-called Mufti.
These efforts comes as part of an operations launched on 19th of February by US-backed Iraqi forces, supported by Iranian sectarian IMIS Shiite militias, to oust ISIS terrorists from Mosul, their last stronghold in Iraq.
