Two oil companies receive $ 56 million from Kurdistan

Two global oil companies operating in the Kurdistan region said on Friday that they received $ 56 million from the provincial government of their entitlements.

DNO, which operates in the Tawki field, confirmed in a statement seen by the "Economy News" that it had received about $ 41.26 million from the Kurdistan Regional Government.

Gulf Keystone, which operates in the Shaikhan field, said in a statement it had received about $ 15 million from the provincial government.

The two companies announced that they had received that amount for their maturity in oil production in March.

Many oil companies signed partnership agreements with the Kurdistan Regional Government to produce oil from the fields of the region receives counterpart sums as entitlements for the extraction and production of oil in those fields.
