OPEC oil prices rise to half a dollar per barrel

The price of oil OPEC basket on Monday rose nearly half a dollar per barrel compared to its price last Friday.



"The OPEC cartel price reached 45:93 dollars a barrel compared to 45:48 dollars on Friday," the OPEC Secretariat said Tuesday.



The OPEC basket is made up of desert mix (Algeria), Gerasol (Angola), Orient (Ecuador), Minas (Indonesia), Iran Heavy, Basra Light (Iraq) (Kuwait), Marban (United Arab Emirates) and Miri (Venezuela).
