Sources close to him: Abadi did not specify the date of his visit to Saudi Arabia and the latter wants to exploit against Qatar
A source close to the prime minister, Haider al-Abadi, said Tuesday that his visit to Saudi Arabia has not been set yet, adding that Saudi Arabia is trying to benefit from the visit through the crisis with Qatar.

The source told Al-Ghad Press that "Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi invited him to visit Saudi Arabia earlier through Saudi Foreign Minister Adil Al-Jubeir," adding that "the visit can take place at any time as soon as its date is set."

"The visit will be the first of my slaves," he said, adding that "the announcement of the visit by the Saudi side is a proof that they want it now to appear as an Iraqi support for them against Qatar."

He explained that "Iraq will benefit from the visit if it was achieved through the exchange between the two countries to detect interventions and support terrorism in the past years."

The source confirmed that "Haider Abadi has an invitation from Qatar, as the Qatari money is still in Iraq."

A member of the Foreign Relations Committee, Khalid al-Asadi, said earlier Tuesday, "Al-Ghad Press", that the date of the visit of Prime Minister, Haider Abadi to Saudi Arabia is not specified so far.

The Saudi agency quoted Saudi sources as saying Tuesday that Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi would visit Saudi Arabia next Wednesday to discuss several issues with King Salman bin Abdul Aziz.
