Zubaidi: Baghdadi did not kill and hide in this place

Former Minister of Transport Baqir al-Zubaidi said on Sunday that the daily "Daily Miro" reported the killing of an organization leader calling on the terrorist Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi in the Syrian city of Raqqa "fabricated news".

"We confirm what we have said previously that al-Baghdadi is currently in the desert of Iraq in the vicinity of the city of Al-Qaim inside underground caches and underground tunnels built in 2013," Zubaidi told Le Journal 24.

Zubaidi's statement came in response to a report by the British daily The Mirror on Saturday that al-Baghdadi was killed. A former Iraqi official responded to the report with new information about al-Baghdadi.

The Daily Mirror said that "a preacher was killed in an air strike in Syria, according to unconfirmed reports in the Syrian government media," noting that "Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was killed in an air strike, Saturday."

It is noteworthy that heavy artillery fell through the terrorist organization in Al-Rigga throughout the day, and posted on the Internet footage showing the destruction caused by.

Recent documentary evidence shows that al-Baghdadi survived his capture in Iraq just minutes before 2013, before his army was unleashed by jihadists in the world.

The report appeared when Iraqi forces claimed that al-Baghdadi's deputy, Ayad al-Jumaili, was killed in an air strike on the Iraqi border with Syria. The intelligence officer under Saddam Hussein was described in an Iraqi television report as the "second leader" and "war minister" of Daish, according to the Daily Mirror.

While Iraqi forces besiege the former stronghold of al-Baghdadi in Mosul, the caliphate declared in the city's main mosque in 2014 is disintegrating. Although he is the target of multiple bombings, analysts believe he is still at large.

He was reportedly seriously injured during an air raid by the same area in March 2015. As with many stories surrounding al-Baghdadi, what really happened is still a mystery.

Iraqi media claimed last February that al-Baghdadi was hit by an air strike on the city of Qaim, bordering the Syrian border on the Iraqi side. This is not the first time Iraqi officials or media have reported the injury of al-Baghdadi.

It is noteworthy that the last appearance of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, was in November last year in a voice speech bearing the name "This is what God and His Messenger promised us."
