Security forces starts regaining Mosul's Mahalabia area
Security forces launched on Saturday morning a military operation that aims to recapture Mahalabia area in eastern Tel Afar west of Mosul city in Nineveh governorate, Commander of Nineveh operations, Major General Najim Al-Jubouri said.
Iraq Army 15th Division 75th and 92nd brigade started the operation at 6 a.m. (local time) to regain the area from ISIS terrorist group.
Jubouri asserted that IMIS did not participate in the military operation.
On February 19th, the Iraqi Army launched a massive operation to retake Mosul city which has been under the control of the terrorist group since June 2014.
