Oil signed a partnership to develop the Iraqi tanker company

The Ministry of Oil signed on Thursday a contract with the Arab Tankers Company to develop the Iraqi Tanker Company, asserting that 2017 will not have any losing company.

Oil Minister Jabbar al-Allaibi said in a statement received by "Economy News" that "the ministry has a plan to develop its companies, which are considered low performance through partnerships with solid companies," noting that "the Iraqi tanker company was a giant companies in the seventies, Passed through the wars decline performance of this company and therefore the contract will raise the performance of the company and develop them and make them winning companies and return to the sea, especially in the marketing of Iraqi oil.

Al-Luaibi said that "he asked five companies losing to the ministry to partner with international companies to develop them as the best case," stressing that "in 2017 will not have the ministry any company is losing."

The Iraqi Oil Tanker Company (IOTC) is an Iraqi state-owned company specializing in the shipping of crude oil and refined products. Was established in 1972.
