Scores of ISIS terrorists killed in Mosul's Seha district - Commander

Iraqi security forces are advancing in the right bank of Mosul and may liberate new neighborhoods in the next few days, Joint Operations Command said on Saturday.

Counter-terrorism services forces have killed scores of ISIS terrorists at al-Seha neighborhood, Joint Operations Command spokesman Gen. Yahya Rasoul said.

He added that Federal Police forces are advancing at al-Shefaa, al-Zanjili neighborhoods and the Old City of Mosul district.

Iraqi Air force also inflicted heavy casualties on ISIS terrorists, Rasoul asserted.

Rasoul also revealed that ISIS terrorists try cripple Iraqi security forces advancement by using suicide bombers and booby-trapped cars.

He also asserted that Iraqi security forces have opened safe passage for civilians to escape the conflict zones.
