Transport looking to strengthen cooperation with a long-standing British company

The technical agent of the Ministry of Transport, Abbas Amran, discussed today with the BP company in the presence of its members and regional director in Iraq, prospects for cooperation and joint coordination.

During the meeting, they discussed how to expand bilateral work and seek to develop Iraqi ports through joint operation and work to develop new berths in ports as well as maintenance and development of old berths.

Omran said that the ministry is always looking forward to benefiting from the expertise and potential of foreign companies and benefiting from them in the ministry's various strategic projects and projects.

The British company expressed its readiness to cooperate with the Ministry of Transport in the development of the water field through the development of sidewalks in accordance with the standards in force.

The meeting is in preparation for other meetings in order to move forward to upgrade the status of the General Company for Iraqi Ports.
