Secretariat of the Council of Ministers: We are working with the World Bank in addressing the challenges facing Iraq

Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Mahdi Al-Alaq said that the Iraqi government and its agencies are working closely with the World Bank in addressing the economic challenges facing Iraq now and in the foreseeable future.

The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers in a press statement received "Economy News" a copy of it, "The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Mehdi Alalak received Saroj Kamr Jah on the occasion of assuming his post as Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa on his first visit to Iraq in the presence of Robert Abu Jude, in Iraq".

"Iraq is working with the World Bank to face many challenges, including finding ways to create jobs through projects, especially in the private sector, and work on preparing strategies and reports on Iraq as a member of the United Nations," the statement said.

"Iraq is reporting within international standards and there is the task of preparing programs with concrete outputs in supporting women and enabling them to help these programs raise the standard of living," he added.

For his part, Sarog expressed his readiness and his team to transfer expertise in the field of providing programs and solutions for the development of the private sector and the allocation of funds to promote the various sectors, including agricultural and educational.
