Iraq seeks to cooperate with the GCC countries in the areas of multiple energy and its uses through the exchange of experiences and transfer of technology.

The Minister of Industry and Minerals, Mohamed Shiaa al-Sudani, said during his meeting with Undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Energy Matar al-Nayadi in the UAE on Wednesday that Iraq has specialized research centers in the fields of energy and competent cadres with accumulated experience. To develop these possibilities and raise the centers of research and scientific studies as a cornerstone and important for the implementation of pilot projects serve and contribute to economic development.

The Sudanese expressed the desire to develop relations with the UAE in the presence of a renaissance and progress and development, which confirms the existence of successful plans and management and the private sector effective, stressing the existence of a vision to promote these relations and investment opportunities for all sectors in all provinces with the existence of a private sector has the desire to find a partnership with the State United Arab Emirates.

For his part, Undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Energy expressed his country's willingness and willingness to cooperate with Iraq in all fields and support it in all possible ways and means in the interest of both countries.

He stressed the importance of linking the GCC countries with Iraq to the electrical grid.
