US President Donald Trump has said the United States is trying to defeat a terrorist organization in Iraq.

President Trump said in a speech at the end of the meetings of the Arab-American summit in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, that Washington intends to eliminate a terrorist organization and all terrorist organizations in cooperation and coordination with the countries of the region to ensure peace, security and safety.

Trump pointed out that the US forces supporting the Iraqis in Mosul in all their affiliations seek to eliminate this terrorist organization and expel terrorism from Iraq, the country of historical civilizations that served humanity.

The US president called on Arab and Muslim leaders to fight terrorism more and to dry up their sources of funding so as to bring peace to the region and to provide their people with a secure future instead of displacement and displacement to other countries.

Trump noted that the United States signed agreements and contracts during the visit, amounting to some 400 billion dollars, including 110 billion dollars for defense purchases of Saudi Arabia.
