Central Bank of Iraq sales of foreign currency fall to $ 2 million

The Central Bank of Iraq's foreign currency sales fell during the auction on Sunday to 157.72 million dollars, compared to 159.55 million dollars on Thursday auction, a decrease of 1.83 million dollars, according to the Central Bank of Iraq.

The Central Bank said in a statement received by "Economy News" that the exchange rate amounted to 1182 dinars per dollar in the auction held with the participation of 38 banks and 10 financial transfer companies.

The bank said in a statement that the amount sold to boost bank balances abroad amounted to 109.3 million dollars, while the amount of sales in cash was 48.42 million dollars.

The central bank said in a statement that the sale of the amounts transferred to the accounts of banks abroad at the price of 1190 dinars per dollar, while the sale of cash will be at the same price.
