Central sales of foreign currencies rise $8 million.

The Iraqi Central Bank sales of foreign currency during Tuesday's auction, to 159.62 million, versus $151.17 million auction on Monday, an increase of $8.45 million, according to a statement.

Central in a statement said "the economy news received a copy, the exchange rate averaged 1182 dinars per dollar at auction, held with the participation of 40 banks and 11 remittance company.

In the statement, the Bank noted that the amounts sold to boost overseas banks balances amounted to $106.38 million, while sales amount in cash of $53.24 million.

He said in the statement, central to sell credits to bank accounts abroad be priced at $1190 each DT, either a cash sale price.
