Iraq begins exporting the first shipment of crude oil to Egypt

The oil Ministry announced on exporting the first shipment of crude oil to Egypt through southern ports to load two million barrels.

He said the Ministry's spokesman Assem Jihad in a statement said all Iraq [where] a copy of it, that "the Egyptian tanker loading crude oil began on Wednesday in the southern port where the tanker is equipped with two million barrels of crude oil from the 12 million barrels.

"It comes within the agreement between Iraq and Egypt, which requires providing Egypt with 12 million barrels a year by two million barrels per month.

Iraq signed an agreement with the Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation two weeks ago to supply 12 million barrels of Basra light crude annually.
