The parliamentary legal Committee Member said Hasan shammari, Wednesday, gained the lawsuit relating to a contract extension and create optical cable Internet access in Iraq, noting that the judiciary has decided to revoke the contract for its "legal irregularities" and "waste of public money.

Shammari said in a statement that "the specialized court proceedings beginning to trade issues and on the contract extension and create optical cable in Iraq."

Shammari said that "the Court today decided to revoke the contract concluded by the Ministry of communications with the company (Symphony-airthlnk)".

He said the cancellation of the contract "the threat to the security of the country and what was waste of public money and many irregularities."

Shammari was announced, (27 February 2017), the issuance of an injunction requiring stop contract between communications and overalls (Symphonic Earth link) to extend and create optical cable in Iraq, attributing the cause to a project security risks and irregularities and waste of public money, with the telecommunications Ministry warned non-implementation decision.

The communications Ministry announced in February 2011, that Iraq will provide advanced services to new lines of communication, like the Internet and video and quick communication, through the adoption of optical lines to improve landline telephone services.
