Abadi issues a set of resolutions to enhance the security of Baghdad

BAGHDAD - The Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Haider al-Abadi, issued Friday a set of resolutions to strengthen the security of Baghdad.

A statement by the Prime Minister's Office said that Abbadi visited the headquarters of the Baghdad operations on Friday and reviewed the measures taken by the Baghdad operations to protect the visitors and ensure the visit of the martyrdom of Imam Musa bin Jaafar al-Kadhim.

"The security situation in the capital Baghdad and the efforts to provide security for citizens and the plans for the future Baghdad operations were also discussed to protect citizens," he added.

Abadi said, according to the statement, "a set of decisions and directives that contribute to the establishment of security in the capital and provide security for the citizen."
