"The owners of the local mills must be authorized to produce this type of flour by granting them the license to import wheat directly through them or the Ministry of Commerce to secure wheat from the international markets."

"The importation of these quantities of this material cost the Iraqi economy large losses and the limit of $ 300 per tonne of flour, zero, or about 750 million dollars a year in addition to the loss of jobs very large, not to mention the waste of the opportunity to extract significant quantities of accompanying materials Including animal feed (bran).

"The lack of planning and wise management of this economic sector by the Ministry of Commerce and over many years, has left the bread loaf of Iraqi prisoners of speculation flour traders of the countries of the region, where respond to Iraq daily at least 6 thousand tons of flour daily" .

He stressed the need to "form a committee with the authority to take the decision of the relevant parties to resolve the issue of flour commercial, and investigate the phenomenon of waste of public resources and hard currency to import material can be secured locally and at a much lower cost, not to mention that the management of this productive file inside Iraq will provide jobs for A large workforce and most important is the support of the private sector, which needs to take an active role in the development of the Iraqi economy. "
