Sheikh Hammoudi confirms to the parliamentary committees on the need to resolve some of the laws in arrears

The head of the House of Representatives Sheikh Hamam Hamoudi today held separate meetings with the parliamentary committees of financial, legal, economic and investment, deportees and displaced persons, and parliamentary integrity to follow up legislative and regulatory performance and discuss the completion of the necessary laws that are in their possession.

A statement issued by his office received the agency {Euphrates News} a copy of it, "Sheikh Hamoudi discussed with the heads and members of the parliamentary committees during his visit to each of them, a number of draft laws and the question of the presence of deputies in the committees and ways to enhance the permanence and effectiveness of the work, stressing the need to accelerate the adoption of Procedures required to enact important legislation during the current chapter. "

Sheikh Hamoudi called on the concerned committees to coordinate with the executive authority in resolving some of the relevant legislation and the importance of reaching a final agreement on the government's objection to the federal budget paragraphs of 2017.

He stressed that "the focus should be on the principle of the terms of reference of the committees in terms of the legislative aspect, expressing his willingness to overcome the obstacles facing its work."
