Central sales from foreign currencies back down to $3 million.


CBI sales retreated from foreign currencies during an auction on Sunday, to $158.9 million, versus $162.24 million on Thursday, a decrease of $3.34 million, according to the Central Bank.

The central statement said it had received "news", the exchange rate averaged 1182 dinars per dollar in auction held at participation of 35 banks and 11 remittance company.

In the statement, the Bank noted that the amounts sold to boost stocks of banks abroad reached 113.22 million dollars, while sales amount in cash of $45.68 million.

He said in the statement, central to sell credits to bank accounts abroad be priced at $1190 each DT, either a cash sale price.
