Security forces recapture 2 neighborhoods in western Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) We Are Coming, Nineveh Operations Command announced on Wednesday liberating two neighborhoods in the western side of the city of Mosul.

Commander of Operations, Lieutenant General Abdel Amir Yarallah, said in a press statement, “Today, forces from Counter-Terrorism Service (CTS) liberated the areas of al-Mansour and al-Shuhada al-Thaniya in the western side of the city of Mosul.”

“The security forces also raised Iraqi flag over the buildings of the two neighborhoods,” Yarallah added.

Earlier today, media office of al-Hashd al-Shaabi announced liberating al-Sabuniyah Train Station, on the road between western Mosul and Tal Afar, after inflicting heavy human and material losses on the Islamic State group.
