The head of the House of Representatives, Saleem al-Jubouri, to start "towards a fruitful cooperation between Iraq and Turkey in the light of the common interests and respect for sovereignty in the interest of their people."

He called al-Jubouri to "move towards a fruitful cooperation between Iraq and Turkey in the light of the common interests and respect for sovereignty in the interest of their people," stressing "the need to expand economic and trade cooperation with neighboring Turkey."

And the price of "Turkey's efforts to provide support and assistance to Iraq, especially in the war against terrorism and hosting large numbers of displaced people and to provide care and attention to them," adding that "Iraq's relations with Turkey are deep and historical ties and the two peoples share a strong".

For his part, the Turkish ambassador expressed "his country's cooperation with Iraq in the fields of counter-terrorism and support for the displaced and activation of trade exchanges to serve the interest of the two neighbors.
