Maliki show support for the initiative, Talabani, the eight-point

Erbil, May 20 / May (PNA) - The President of the Government of Iraq Nouri al-Maliki on Sunday, his support for the initiative of President Jalal Talabani, which included eight items, while stressing the latter on the need to establish political parties interests of the country, stability and security above any other consideration.
A statement issued today by the Office after meeting with Talabani, Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki said the latter "expressed its full support for the presidential statement of all the eight items," tight on "the role of President of the Republic as custodian of the constitution which is the ruling al-Faisal and the differences."


The statement added that "al-Maliki said," call to President Talabani, inclusive dialogue of all parties stems from his commitment to Iraq's stability and prosperity of its citizens. "


The statement quoted Talabani as saying that "dialogue is the only way to overcome differences and crises," stressing that "the presidential statement-point eight included visions and ideas serve as a basis for such a dialogue which he said should be conducted in an atmosphere free from tension and exchange of accusations and threats."


Talabani said that "none of the political parties may have the demands and complaints from the other party and therefore must be open dialogue conducted in the framework of the Constitution, legislation, understandings and agreements, and under the direction puts the interests of the country, stability and security above any other consideration."


He called on President Jalal Talabani, in (18 May 2012), blocs of political commitment to the agreements made on the basis of the current government, as well as stopping media campaigns and the adoption of the Constitution as a reference, while stressing the need to conduct free and fair elections for provincial councils in 2013 and the House of Representatives in 2014 .
