The Iraqi Central Bank Governor signed on Wednesday a memorandum of understanding, relations with the British side to develop measures to combat money laundering and terrorist financing.

The Bank said in a statement received/news, scales "Iraq's Central Bank Governor on Relations signed a memorandum of understanding with the British Ambassador in Iraq, Frank Baker, aims to develop and support action against money laundering and terrorist financing."

He added that "the agreement signed today, involving a financial grant from the elves of Iraqi Central Bank which in turn will allocate to support efforts in combating money laundering and terrorist financing through the Organization of courses and workshops to develop capabilities in cooperation with specialized international institutions."
