"

Hindawi said that "inflation for the month of December last and the index rose by 0.2%, compared to November of last month that inflation, which fell 0.7%, indicating that the rise was due to higher housing department by 3.5%."

He Hindawi that "the annual inflation index during the period from December 2015 until the month of December 2016 saw a decrease, or 0.7%," he said. "This decline was influenced by lower prices of food section and non-alcoholic beverages by 7.1".

Hindawi pointed out that "the survey, which was conducted during the month of December did not include the three Iraqi provinces because of the security situation witnessed in these provinces," explaining that "the provinces not covered by the survey included the price of Nineveh, Salahaddin, Anbar."

It announced the Central Agency for Statistics and Information Technology through January 2012, it will begin using mechanization in the collection of the different prices and times of a specific time rather than paper form in place earlier, emphasizing that it will contribute to the speed of price collection, accuracy, and correct calculation in case of errors.
