She pointed out that " the British agency has agreed to grant the loan within the first phase to support water and sanitation projects in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah, after he signed the provincial government in 2015 signed a contract with Biwater company $ 1.2 billion, this is the first loan to the Government of the Territory."

She explained that "the agreement includes the establishment of a water purification unit with a capacity of 600 thousand cubic meters in Arbil, and the renovation project unit water filter along with the provision of sophisticated equipment," pointing out that "the first phase include the evaluation of projects and the impact of social and environmental terms."

The statement quoted the head of the Kurdistan Regional Government Nechirvan Barzani, on the occasion of signing the contract and the agreement to get a loan, saying, "It's an important step to improve the daily life of the inhabitants of Irbil and Sulaymaniyah," noting that "this is the first time that offer the British government loans directly to the Government of the Territory to develop infrastructure ".
