Iraq's oil exports recorded an unprecedented amount of 4 million in the past month

The Oil Ministry announced a rise in oil exports to Iraq increased in November to more than 4 million barrels per day.

He said ministry spokesman Assem Jihad said in a statement, that "the statistical initial oil exports for the month of October for the whole of Iraq for the month of November last recorded for the first time a record unprecedented levels which exceeded the barrier of 4 million, and 51,000 barrels per day."

Jihad said that "oil exports from the southern ports recorded a large increase amounted to 3.407 million barrels per day."

And between, he said that "Kirkuk oil exports amounted to 64,000 barrels per day, while export rates from the fields of the region amounted to 580,000 barrels per day."

The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries Countries [OPEC] agreed yesterday during a meeting in Vienna with the participation of Iraq to cut production by 1.2 million barrels per day, bringing total production for OPEC to 32.5 million barrels a day.

The agreement to reduce Iraq's production of 200 thousand barrels per day, to 4,000,351 bpd starting from next January 2017.
