The parliamentary Finance Committee decision revealed Ahmed Hamma about balancing next year 2017 include converting the funds allocated to the overall validity of the transferred ministries to local governments in all provinces by population ratios, indicating that balancing the budget would represent a larger ratio of Basra compared to other provinces.

Hamma said that about 75% of public expenditure in next year's budget will be allocated to the operating budget that includes staff salaries and retirees as well as goods and services, while the remainder of 25% expenditure will be allocated to investment budget split between oil and security sector.

Hamma announced the intention of the parliamentary Finance Committee meeting next Tuesday to examine the budget bill and add paragraphs and items which the Commission intends to incorporate them into the Bill as too much time left to date include budget bill on the agenda of the House of representatives.
