Iraqi diplomat appreciates Iran's support for anti-Daesh campaign

Belgrade, Nov 9, IRNA – Iraqi ambassador to Serbia Kasim Asker Hasan praised Iran's great support to Iraqi people in fighting Daesh, saying that Iraqi cities would have fallen to Daesh forces in absence of Iran.
Speaking in the University of Belgrade Faculty of Security Studies, he said his nation appreciated the help of Iran in fighting Daesh which happened upon the request of Iraqi government.
He reiterated that Iran would attack Daesh forces if they tended to just near its borders.
Iraqi envoy reiterated that today terrorism is an important issue for Iraq.
He added that after the collapse of former regime, the country has been the target of many terrorist acts which inflicted serious damages.
Asker Hasan said that one of the financial resources of Daesh is illegal sale of Iraq's oil.
