Basra plans to offer 200 investment conference project in Kuwait later this month

Basra Investment Commission announced Monday its intention to hold an investment conference in Kuwait at the end of October, putting up 200 project to develop the province, (590 km south of Baghdad), while agreeing to build apartment complex near Basra International Airport by Kuwaiti investor complained that the difficulty of the procedures for granting visas to foreign investors and link approvals.

Said the Basra Investment Commission to Gaspe, "the Commission is determined to hold an investment conference in the State of Kuwait at the end of October", noting that "the Conference will put 200 investment project in Basra urged Kuwaiti investors and foreign business in the province."

GASPE added that "Kuwaiti investor building got approval for a residential compound near Basra International Airport, Northwest of the city," adding that "body awaiting completion of procedures related to project implementation.

GASPE ups complications "procedures for granting visas to foreign investors and linked to specific actors in Baghdad, one investment impediments", suggesting "authorize customs Manager southern region Director of residence in the province to grant visa (Visa) being among the stakeholders associated with the capital, to facilitate procedures for investors and encourage them.

The Basra Investment Commission signed, end of September 2016, five decades investment worth 64 million dollars covering several sectors.
