The Governor said that "the French Alstom company specialized in electric trains, which assumed completion of designs, have carried out several similar projects in the Arab world, the Middle East," pointing out that "the implementation of the project will be phased in beginning at a distance of 22 km and a half, say 30 thousand passengers per hour, through 14 stations can be scaled in stage two.".

Tamimi said that "project design will mix between Islamic and contemporary art where it will hopefully contribute to the Elimination of traffic in particular that the train will pass through universities, schools and several areas in the capital.".
