Iraq: Talabani received the agenda of the National Conference

Baghdad, April 2 (Rn) - The preparatory committee for the upcoming National Conference, Wednesday, for sending the agenda of the National Congress to the president, Jalal Talabani, indicating that the latter will determine the date of the National Congress.


It was announced last Thursday, the National Alliance for completion and a draft working paper National Conference to be held during the coming period.
The Kurdistan Alliance has authorized the members of the Preparatory Committee of the National Alliance to prepare a working paper and the National Congress after the rejection of the Iraqi List, attendance to the meeting.

He said al-Araji, head of the Liberal parliamentary bloc that "President Jalal Talabani will determine the date of the conference regarded as the national sponsor of the conference, which drew to hold it." He said.


The Iraqi List, has revealed earlier for non-participation in the meeting of the Preparatory Committee and the National Congress unless it is meeting the five demands and described as "basic."


The political crisis erupted between coalition and Iraqi rule of law against the backdrop of the issuance of an arrest warrant for Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi, a leader in the Iraqi List, for his support of "terrorism" which was rejected by the latter, who described the judiciary as "politically motivated".


Talabani urged last week, the Preparatory Committee on the need to finish its work as soon as possible, while the United Nations commented on the success of the conference hopes to get out of the national political crisis.
