Sayhoud: "Not attending National Meeting proves IS' intention to create crises

Baghdad (AIN) -MP Mohammed al-Sayhoud of the State of Law Coalition accused the Iraqiya Slate of "creating political crises in the country."




MP Sayhoud said to All Iraq News Agency (AIN), on Tuesday "The Iraqiya Slate's declaration about not attending Tuesday meeting of the preparatory committee for the National Meeting is considered as a clear attempt to create problems and to hinder the political process and government work."




He added "I have anticipated that IS will not attend the meeting and even if it attended the meeting, it will not play a positive role," noting that "Today, it tries to elude from attending the meeting."


MP Saleem al-Jubouri of the Iraqiya Slate has asserted to (AIN) that his Slate will not participate in the preparatory committee's meeting of today, Tuesday.


The Vice President Khudhayir al-Khuzai has urged the preparatory committee to meet at 5 o'clock p.m. of today, Tuesday.


The head of the parliamentary Iraqiyia bloc declared on Monday that "The IS will not respond to the invitation about attending the meeting."


The head of the Iraqiya Slate Ayad Allawi has stated that "The national meeting has become a ridiculous joke, ruling out holding the national meeting."/End/
