Erbil, October 21 / October (Rn) - The official source at the Iraqi Oil Ministry, said Friday that the Kurdistan Region resumed the export of oil.

A spokesman for the Iraqi Oil Ministry, Asim Jihad, told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that "about 80 thousand barrels of oil province of Kurdistan issued a day to the Turkish port of Ceyhan, but this percentage is not fixed, but linked to the ability of the oil wells."

Jihad said that he "expected the arrival of the province's oil exports to 100 thousand barrels per day in the near future, based on comments from the provincial government officials."

And on the policy of the Iraqi Oil Ministry about the demands of the Kurdistan region, said, "it was agreed with the political officials in the province, that the provincial government to resume the export of oil, and later on to talk about the problems between the Iraqi Oil Ministry and the Ministry of natural resources in the province."

He pointed out that "The oil ministry is currently preoccupied with the conclusion of a number of contracts with a group of well-known companies, the aim of working on the operation of 12 wells for oil and gas in the south of the country."

He continued by saying that "63 companies specialized in the field of oil compete for work in the wells of the 12", noting that "he was refusing requests for some companies, for not adhering to the instructions of the ministry."
"Truth is everlasting, but our ideas about truth are changeable. Only a little of the first fruits of wisdom, only a few fragments of the boundless heights and depths of truth, have I been able to gather"
